Update on adverse drug reactions in the skin

Dermatologists need to be aware of recent reports of adverse drug reactions affecting the skin, Reviewed here are reports of novel agents causing shin reactions - new antiviral therapies used in HIV infection, lamotrigine, ni corandil, fluoroquinolones, hydroxyurea and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor - together with developments in patterns of drug-related skin disord ers, specifically acral manifestations, bullous pemphigoid and acute genera lized exanthematous pustulosis.
