Abstract
The irradiation effect on the NiFe/Cu/NiFe/NiMn spin valve has been investi gated. It was found that the defect density was enhanced ten times after th e irradiation of 8 MeV Ni-ions at the dosage of 10(13)/cm(2). The ill-H hys teresis as well as the magnetoresistance ratio has been found to be changed . (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
