Abstract
The research on theory and application of magnetic bearing system has recei ved much attention in recent years. III order to overcome nonsystematic des ign and long training time in nonlinear adaptive inverse control, we propos e a new method based on CPBUM neural network. The experimental results show that the proposed architecture provides a greater flexibility and better p erformance in controlling magnetic bearing system. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scienc e B.V.
