Abstract
The mechanical, thermophysical, spectroscopic, nonlinear, and laser pr operties are presented for one of the most efficient laser crystals: n eodymium-doped potassium gadolinium tungstate, KGd(WO4)(2):Nd3+-(KGW:N d).
