Synthesis and polymerization of an amine-terminated dendronized styrene

In this paper the synthesis of a second generation dendronized styrene macr omonomer 8 with Teoc-protected amine groups in the periphery is described, as well as its concentration dependent radical polymerization, and the libe ration of the amine groups of the resulting polymer 9a by treatment with tr ifluoroacetic acid to yield the novel polyamine 9b.
