Abstract
The primary crystallization reaction of amorphous alloys often leads to the evolution of nanocrystalline microstructures that gives rise to excellent magnetic or mechanical proper ties. This paper reviews recent atom probe st udies on the microstructure evolution of nanocrystalline and nanocomposite metallic materials that are produced by the nanocrystallization phenomena o f amorphous alloys.
