Abstract
The measurements of direct photons in 158 AGeV Pb+Pb collisions by the WA98 experiment at the CERN SPS are discussed. The methods used to determine th e inclusive photon and the pi(O) yields are discussed. The results of inves tigation of the systematic errors are presented.
