Abstract
We present a new scheme to design the computer-generated hologram (CGH) for achieving the wavelet transform in an optical system. The multiresolution edge and corner extraction of image can be implemented in this system. A br ief derivation of the relevant equations used in the design of CGH is;given based on the general theory of optical transform. The computer simulation shows that the designed CGH can perform the feature extraction of image suc cessfully.
