Abstract
Removal of Pu(IV) from alkaline solutions by coprecipitation with Cr(III) h ydroxide formed by hydrolysis of hydrated Cr3+ ion was studied by alpha-rad iometric technique. Plutonium is coprecipitated from 0.5-4 M NaOH solutions with a high decontamination factor, Inorganic and organic anions and compl exones impair decontamination.
