Abstract
Hydrolysis of Co(NH3)(5)Cl2+ ion and recovery of Co(III) hydroxide from 1-1 0 M NaOH solutions at 40-60 degrees C were studied by the complexometric ti tration. Coprecipitation of 10(-4)-10(-7) M of Pu(IV) and Pu(V) with Co(III ) hydroxide arising from hydrolysis of Co(NH3)(5)Cl2+ was studied by radiom etric technique. The decontamination factors of solutions from plutonium ar e 5-500 depending on the conditions.
