Abstract
The inheritance of growth habit (spring-winter) was studied in 56 old local varieties and landraces of common wheat and several other varieties of hex aploid wheat cultivated in the past. The dynamics of distribution and occur rence of the Vrn genes was analyzed in local and selection varieties of com mon wheat of Asian and European origin.
