Abstract
Configurationally and chemically stable aziridine carboxylate anions have b een generated. These intermediates are stable at -78 degrees C for several hours and react with electrophiles with good to excellent retention of conf iguration. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
