Abstract
A close precursor of the C8-C18 subunit of pamamycin-607 was prepared by as ymmetric synthesis from ethyl butyryl acetate via a chiral beta,delta-diket osulfoxide. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
