We investigate the movement of particles in ERF that is under Poiseulli flo
w by virtue of molecular dynamic simulations. The velocity profile of parti
cles we simulated is divided into two zones. The zone near the electrodes w
here the par tide velocity profile changes periodically like breathing type
, we called it the transition zone. The zone between the two electrodes whe
re particles move smoothly as a plug, we called it the plug zone. In additi
on, we also simulate the relationship between volume flow rate and relative
pressure gradient. We then analyze the factors that influence the volume f
low rate, critical electric field, critical pressure gradient and the respo
nse time of shutting flow respectively.
