Abstract
Changbai Mountain Biosphere Reserve located in north-eastern China is one o f the biggest reserves in China and is very rich in biodiversity. For many reasons, e.g. social and economic factors, serious problems relating to bio diversity conservation are now obvious in this area. The current status of biodiversity, the problems of biodiversity conservation, and the strategy f or research and management in this reserve are presented in this paper.
