Abstract
The 1:1 adduct formed between 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane and 1,3,5- benzenetricarboxylic acid is a salt, C6H13N2+.C9H5O6-. The components both lie on a mirror plane and are linked by O-H ... O, O-H ... N and N-H ... O hydrogen bonds into planar two-dimensional sheets; these she ets are formed by repetition of a single R-6(6)(38) ring which thus ge nerates a tiling pattern with plane group pg.
