EPIQR surveys of apartment buildings in Europe

A total of 38 apartment building surveys following the EPIQR methodology ha ve been performed in seven European countries. The audits included the ener gy systems, indoor environmental conditions and building envelope. The coll ected data provide a novel overview on the condition, construction characte ristics, installations, energy systems and consumption of existing resident ial buildings throughout Europe. A comparative analysis of the data will re veal the common characteristics and differences in terms of energy behavior , indoor environmental quality and building structure for the existing buil ding stock; in Europe and examine potential implications of the forthcoming European action on labeling of buildings.
