A 56 year-old, female patient was admitted to our department with a mass on
her left forearm, which had been present for approximately 15 years. She h
ad noticed a sudden enlargement with erythemateous change of the overlying
skin during the past eight months. It was mildly painful when she exerted p
ressure on it.
Physical examination revealed a somewhat firm and mobile mass of approximat
ely 6 x 5 cm in size, located on the lateral aspect of the upper left forea
rm. The tumoral mass was partly fixed to deeper tissues. There was no regio
nal nodal involvement. Incisional biopsy was performed.
