Abstract
Before a cell divides into two identical daughter cells, the entire ge nome must be replicated faithfully. The mechanistic details of this co mplex macromolecular process, called DNA replication, have recently be en clarified. We focus on the current knowledge af the eukaryotic DNA replication fork at the levels of DNA and chromatin.
