Abstract
The paper considers approaches to large- and small-scale zoning of the Sibe rian Platform (province), which is subdivided, according to typomorphic fea tures of diamonds, into four subprovinces: Central Siberian, Lena-Anabar (A nabar-Olenek and Kyutyungda regions), Tungus (Baikit and Southern Tungus di stricts), and Aldan subprovinces. This is exemplified by placer occurrences that are differentiated based on eroded unidentified and identified, rich and lean bedrock sources. It is recommended to prospect high-potential diam ond-bearing pipes within the promising areas of the Central Siberian subpro vince and in the Kyutyungda and Baikit regions.
