Abstract
Aqueous polyurethone dispersions ore used widely in the coatings industry b ecause of their high performance. A new technology has been developed to ac hieve enhanced properties of aqueous urethanes and ureithane-acrylics throu gh the design of unique (self) crosslinkable polyols. Synthesis and propert ies of a wide range of urethanes and urethone-acrylics with varying crossli nking densities and structures will be discussed.
