Abstract
We report three pediatric cases of infectious colitis that were misinterpre
ted on US examination as Crohn's disease. These colitis were limited to the
left colon and presented with transmural hypoechoic thickening of the wall
and homogenous hyperechoic appearance of the surrounding fat.
