Abstract
The shape of Abrikosov vortices and magnetic field lines is given for anisotropic c-oriented flat superconductors carrying a current in perp endicular field. In thick specimens the vortex lines and field lines a re parabolae but in thin films the vortices are straight and perpendic ular to the surface even when the field lines are strongly curved.
