Abstract
Material from Borneo and Sumatra show that there is a morphological evoluti on from Lepidocyclina (Lepidocyclina) isolepidinoides van der Vlerk, 1929, to L. (Nephrolepidina) nephrolepidinoides sp. nov., L. (N.) brouweri Rutten , 1924 and L. (N,) ferreroi Provale, 1909, The lineage demonstrates one of the evolutionary progressions from Lepidocyclina (Lepidocyclina) to Lepidoc yclina (Nephrolepidina) for the Far East region.
