Abstract
Adaptive feedforward control, self-organizing fuzzy control and proportiona l control are comparatively implemented to a 3-axial electrohydraulic contr ol system. Its typical implementations include 3-axial vibrating system and space-tracking system. Although parameters of this system are time-variant and space dependent, adaptive feedforward control and self-organizing fuzz y control have the capabilities of on-line modifying the control law, and t hey have similar robustness. Proportional control requires plenty of trial and error to determine optimal gains. Experimental results indicate that ad aptive feedforward control has excellent tracking performance and almost no phase lag. Proportional control and self-organizing fuzzy control have sim ilar magnitude response; however, proportional control has serious phase la gs problem, which degrade the tracking performance.
