Abstract
[GRAPHICS] A novel approach for the preparation of symmetrical (chlorin-chlorin), and unsymmetrical (chlorin-porphyrin) dimers joined with carbon-carbon linkages as models to study the "intramolecular" charge transfer is discussed.
