Abstract
[GRAPHICS] The synthesis of the parent bis(pyrrolo[3,4- d])tetrathiafulvalene via a no nclassical and sim pie pyrrole synthesis is reported, together with a detai led study of the fundamental redox behavior of some of this class of hetero cycles.
