Abstract
[GRAPHICS] A [2+3] cycloaddition of camphor derived oxazoline N-oxide to alpha,beta-un saturated ester afforded adduct 8, Tetrahydrolipstatin 1 was prepared from this compound in a nine step sequence of reactions.
