Stabilized enolates attached to, cationic (arene)(RuCp)-Cp-II complexes via
an amide linkage were found to participate in nucleophilic aromatic additi
on reactions resulting in the formation of novel cyclohexadienyl-Ru azaspir
ocycles. Enolate addition to the activated arene ring was found to proceed
with complete stereoselectivity.
