Abstract
Pancreatitis is often difficult to diagnose in cats because of vague c linical signs and lack of consistent biochemical abnormalities. Serum amylase and lipase activities are usually within reference ranges. Fel ine trypsin-like immunoreactivity is a measure of trypsinogen and tryp sin activity. Serum trypsin-like immunoreactivity may be high in cats with active pancreatitis.
