S. Knappe et al., Splitting of coherent population-trapping resonances by the nuclear magnetic moment - art. no. 012508, PHYS REV A, 6001(1), 2000, pp. 2508
We have observed the splitting of coherent population trapping resonances i
n Cs vapor due to the influence of the nuclear magnetic moment which is alr
eady resolved in a magnetic held of about the strength of the geostatic hel
d. By choosing appropriate laser polarizations and field direction vector a
nd quadrupole coupled transitions can be investigated separately. The split
ting allows to determine the ratio of nuclear to electronic g-factors.
