Abstract
A new resonance ionization mass spectrometry system at the National Institu te of Standards and Technology using glow discharge atomization and continu ous-wave lasers has been developed. Low concentrations of Cs-133 in a silve r matrix have been measured using this new system. In addition a detailed c haracterization of the glow discharge source and laser ionization processes are made.[S0034-6748(00)00902-3].
