I. Kusevic et al., SLOPE RESISTANCE AND CRITICAL-CURRENT DISTRIBUTION IN AG-CLAD (BI, PB)2SR2CA2CU3O10+Y TAPES, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 194, 1994, pp. 1929-1930
V-I characteristics of Ag-clad BPSCCO tape have been studied in the te
mperature (T) range 80-106K and magnetic fields (B) up to 60 mT. The z
ero-field J(c) at 77K is 10100 A/cm2. J(c) showed power law variations
with T and B, characteristic for the intragranular flux creep. The ma
gnitude and variations of the slope resistance R(f) with T and B are c
onsistent with the flux flow in low fields. Very broad and featureless
critical current distribution function (CCD) is ascribed to the varia
tion in the flux pinning energies within BPSCCO.
