Abstract
This article reviews recent developments in the immunophilin arena and the current state of knowledge about the biochemical properties of immunophilin s. The role of immunophilin-binding assays is also explored with the conclu sion that some of these immunosuppressive-drug-binding proteins may provide better assays for sirolimus and tacrolimus than current immunoassays.
