Abstract
In the title compound, [SnI2(C7H7O3)(2)]. C2H3N, the ligand donor atoms are arranged around the Sn atom in a distorted octahedron, with the iodide lig ands cis with respect to one another. The acetonitrile molecule of crystall ization occupies interstitial positions in the structure.
