Abstract
The structure of the title compound, poly[zinc(II)bis(mu-heptanoato-O:O')], [Zn(C7H13O2)(2)](n), consists of polymeric sheets parallel to (001) in whi ch tetrahedrally coordinated Zn2+ cations are connected by carboxylate brid ges in a syn-anti arrangement.
