Abstract
The molecules of the title compound, C7H11N3O3, are almost planar owing to an extensive conjugation of C=N and C=O double bonds resulting from five pu rely sp(2) hybridized atoms and one amide-N atom in the ring. The strong hy drogen N-H ... O=C bonds produce a dimer across a centre of symmetry. The d imers are interconnected by weaker hydrogen bonds to form a layer structure .
