The title compound, C8H14N+. CH3CO2-, contains a short C=C-H ... O hydrogen bond to the acetate ion with a C ... O distance of 3.139(2) Angstrom and a normalized H ... O distance of 2,11 Angstrom, N-H ... O and C=C-H ... O hy drogen bonds are linked together to form a ribbon motif.
