Yv. Sushko et al., EFFECT OF MAGNETIC-FIELD ON THE GROUND-STATE OF 2-D ORGANIC SUPERCONDUCTOR KAPPA-(ET)2CU[N(CN)2]CL, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 194, 1994, pp. 1999-2000
We report the results of resistivity measurements carried out on singl
e crystals of kappa-(ET)2Cu-[CN)2]Cl in an applied magnetic fields to
10 T. Hydrostatic pressures have been used to stabilize the metallic s
tate and superconductivity. In a fields to 10 T applied parallel to th
e highly conducting ac plane, and in a low fields normal to the plane
the field effect on the superconducting transition is observed to be s
imilar to other layered superconductors. However, the application of a
higher fields normal to the a-c plane causes the resistivity to exhib
it sharp metal/superconductor to insulator transition.
