Abstract
A general purpose partial differential equation solver, PDE2D, which is use ful on a wide range of computational physics applications, including 1D, 2D and 3D, time-dependent, steady-state and eigenvalue problems, is described . This program has the advantages of being both accurate and very easy to u se, Its wide applicability is illustrated by solving three representative q uantum mechanics problems.
