Abstract
The superconductivity of La2-xSrxCuO4 and the phase change from a tetr agonal structure to an orthorhombic one are studied under high pressur e The T(c) of the orthorhombic phase is depressed in comparison with t he tetragonal phase. The depression of T(c) correlates with a change i n transport properties between the Cu-O planes, which is caused by a t ilt of the CuO6 octahedron.
