Abstract
Using an APD and highly integrated HBT ICs with PLL, the authors have devel oped a 10Gbit/s optical receiver. The measured results of the wide dispersi on tolerant characteristics of -150 to +1200ps/nm suggest a wide applicatio n range of 50km SMF transmissions, WDM systems and other network applicatio ns.
