Abstract
A constrained constant modulus approach (CMA) for blind multiuser detection is investigated. In the noiseless case, the sufficient and necessary condi tions under which the constrained CMA can completely remove multiaccess int erference (MAI) are derived. According to the conditions, a non-canonical c onstraint must be considered to strengthen the ability of CMA to suppress M AI. The simulation examples demonstrate the results.
