Abstract
We report on ultrasonic measurements on polycrystalline samples of the high-T(c) system YBa2Cu3O7-delta (YBCO). It is shown that the influen ce of the dielectric anomalies above T(c) on the elastic properties de pends sensitively on boundary conditions as eg. grainsize and intergra nular electrical conductivity.
