Viscosities and viscosity deviations are reported for the binary mixtures o
f 1,2-dichloroethane or 1,2-dibromoethane with 1-butanol, 2-butanol, 2-meth
yl-1-propanol, and 2-methyl-2-propanol at 298.15 and 313.15 K. Viscosity de
viations are negative for all the mixtures and decrease in absolute value w
hen the temperature increases. The kinematic viscosities were correlated by
the equations of McAllister and Heric. The Wu model was used to predict th
e viscosities of the systems.
