Precision Agriculture (PA) is a relatively new farm management strategy tha
t allows agriculturists to quantify and manage the spatial variability in f
arm fields. Many significant developments in the machinery used for PA have
occurred during the last few years. The purpose of this paper is to highli
ght thp current state of those technologies. Discussions focus on developme
nts in the positioning system, sensor, yield monitoring and variable rate a
pplication technologies available for PA.
