Abstract
In horses, hemospermia may result from neoplasia of the urethral process; e xcision of the tumor is the treatment of choice and may resolve the hemospe rmia.) Irritation of the urethral process may be a predisposing factor in developm ent of self-mutilation behavior in stallions.
