Abstract
The induction of cytogenetic damage after irradiation with low doses of gam
ma- rays (0.1-2 Gy) has been studied. A non-linear curve is shown for the i
nduction of chromosome aberrations, detected by anaphase method. It is poss
ible that these results could reflect an induced radioresistance at low dos
e irradiation. The obtained data were analyzed from the point of view of th
e model of two protective mechanisms.
