Abstract
We have developed a new tool for the calculation of multiple-dependent scat
tering in dense heterogeneous media avoiding convergence difficulties. We d
emonstrate with various examples the influence of the multiple-dependent sc
attering on the scattering cross sections and the diffuse reflectance (or t
ransmittance) as calculated by using an extended radiative transfer model.
