Nonlinear resonance conditions for nonlinear cylinder or sphere granular co
mposites with nonlinear cores or nonlinear shells are investigated. It is f
ound that the nonlinear partially resonant conditions which are associated
the linear part of nonlinear component with linear component cannot be real
ized. However, under the linear partially resonant conditions, the nonlinea
r dielectric response of the composite will still be greatly enhanced. (C)
